New Equal Opportunities and Intercultural Diversity Officer appointed
As of November 1st 2010 Christiane Loewe, a Group Leader in Empa’s Functional Polymers Laboratory, has taken over responsibility for all matters related to equal opportunities and intercultural diversity in the institution. Christiane Loewe has already accumulated several years of experience in this field, having been involved with Project Crystal, Empa’s first ever corporate equal opportunities related activity. Her aim is to create suitable conditions for all Empa staff members, whether of Swiss or other cultural origins, to allow them to find the optimal balance between professional and family life, and also to enjoy living and working in this country.
