• Research and development of sustainable functional materials (bulk materials, coatings, fillers, fibers, etc.) based on renewable raw materials and bio-polymers, such as (nano)cellulose, proteins, lignin, polyesters etc.

• Transfer of research and development results, new materials and processes into an industrial environment (technology transfer)

• Evaluation and set-up of processes, machinery and infrastructure (mills, presses, extruders, coating equipment, analytical equipment, laboratory and clean room infrastructure)
