Sweating walking thermal foot manikin is a mutlti-segmental manikin made of copper and silver alloys. The external drive units enable foot manikin to perform realistic gate movements. It is positioned in a climatic chamber that can simulate variety of conditions including hot, cold or windy outdoor conditions.

Thermal foot manikin can be used to determine thermal and evaporative properties of footwear (socks, shoes, soles) according to dedicated standards to compare the sample to predeceasing prototypes, other products on the market or against required values in the standards. In addition customizable real-life scenarios can be simulated to evaluate footwear performance at their actual conditions of use.
