The aims of the joint Agroscope and Empa, SNSF funded, project graziQ-house are the quantification of NH₃ and greenhouse gas (CH₄, CO₂) emissions from naturally ventilated dairy housing combined with grazing. In the project, typical grazing durations and two feeding strategies will be studied.

In addition, yearly averaged emission values will be modelled for the investigated situations to improve the database for emission inventories. Within the project, Empa is responsible for the implementation of the dual tracer ratio method in the experimental dairy housing.
