Xuanchen Li
PhD Student
Xuanchen Li received his master's degree in materials science from ETH Zurich in 2023. He conducted his master's thesis in Prof. Rachel Grange's group, working on fabrication of lithium niobate nanoparticles assemblies and utilizing this platform to explore 3D Anderson localization.
In February 2024, he started his PhD in the nanotech@surfaces Laboratory at Empa. Within the framework of the project ATYPIQUAL (Atomically Precise Nanoribbons Quantum Platform), he will focus on fabricating different graphene nanoribbons for applications in field-effect transistors, spintronics, and quantum computing devices.
Fields of interest
