Following this, he embarked on a new chapter by becoming a part of the Center for X-Ray Analytics at Empa as a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Antonia Neels. His primary focus revolves around the profound "Understanding of drug release mechanisms in local antibiotic therapy" while participating in the development of multimodal X-ray methods. With a solid background in chemistry, Dan's aim is to be a part of the whole diversity of all humans in science.
In his scientific pursuits, curiosity and enthusiasm are the cornerstones of his approach.
