The illustration shows the major electric components of the SELF unit and Energy Module. Three individual PV converters supply onto the Self micro grid. All consumers feed directly of the grid. Excess electric energy is stored in the lithium ion batteries with a capacity of 16.5 kWh and in the Energy Module hydrogen storage with a capacity of 130 kWh. All actors are controlled by the SELF PLC and can be forced on or off for improved storage performance.
