Our laboratory has long-standing expertise and reputation in the advanced joining (i.e. soldering, brazing, transient-liquid-phase bonding, diffusion bonding) of dissimilar materials (e.g. metal-ceramics, metal-glass, metal-composites) for harsh operating conditions (e.g. at elevated temperatures; in moisture, reactive gasses or ionic liquids; under intense radiation, thermal shock, vibration or cyclic loading).
